Airbus Weather App

I had the opportunity to work with Airbus during my Bachelor's Degree to design a fictional weather app for touchpad. (Made with Adrien Milcent)

After making a lot of wireframes, and understand how pilots   are reading weather, we designed interfaces by working with use cases   . Firstly, here is how the pilot can easily check the weather data of his itinerary.

If there are risks on the path of the plane, the pilot will be alerted, and be able to check whats is happening and where, with a pop-up. If the alert presents a real danger, there will be a new path proposed.

If the pilot wants informations on the weather later on his path, he can have a preview, by swiping on the timeline .

After designing these interfaces, we received a lots of feedbacks, which we applied them for the last deadline by developing a motion design video as a proof of concept.

During this project, we learned a lot about the user experience and user interface design process by confronting our creativity with real visual constraints.
